How to fix error 403 in Play Store for updating apps

Lots of new Android users have some troubles with error 403 which prevents them from installing APKs or downloading apps from other stores other than Play Store Free App. Don’t worry, today I will give you instructions of how to fix error 403 in Play Store completely.

Option 1: Re-install Google service and Gmail account

Go to Settings > Accounts & sync > Google > Remove account

Remove Google account

Then go to Settings > Apps > Force stop, clear cache and clear data of the following apps: Google Play Store, Google Service Framework and Download Manager

Go to Accounts & sync > Google > Add accounts

Add new Google account

Next, restart your device and accept Google Play Terms of Service

Restart devices and go to Play Store again

Go to the Play Store to install or update your apps

Update apps in Play Store

Option 2: Clear proxy in Mobile Networks

Go to Settings > Networks > Mobile Networks

Choose Mobile network from Settings

Select Access point names (APN) > Wap-gprs > Clear proxy

Clear Proxy

Then go to the Play Store to install or update your apps

Option 3: Add Gmail account

Go to Settings > Accounts & sync > Add accounts > Google

Add new Google account

After adding another Gmail account, go to Play Store and select the new account

Change account to install and update apps

Then you install or update all your apps

Update apps
