Fix error 504 in Play Store app

Option 1: Go to Settings > Apps > All

Select “All” from Apps Setting
Find “Google Play Store” in your app list then select “Clear data” and “Clear Cache”

Force stop, clear data and cache of Google Play Store
Find “Google Services Framework” in the app list then select “Clear data” and “Clear Cache”

Force stop, clear data and cache of Google Service Framework
Then go back to “Google Play Store” to download or update your apps as usual

Update or install apps from Google Play Store
Option 2: Go to Settings > Accounts & sync > Google > Remove account

Remove Google account
Then go to Settings > Apps > All

Choose “All” from Apps setting
Find “Google Play Store”, “Google Services Framework” and “Download Manager” then select “Force stop”, “Clear Data” and “Clear Cache”

Force stop, clear data and cache of apps
Go back to Accounts & sync > Add account > Google to add another account

Add new Google account
Restart your device and accept Google Play Terms of Service

Restart devices and accept Google agreement
Then go back to “Google Play Store” to download or update your apps as usual

Update apps from Google Play Store
